Well, not literally you understand.
I’ve been asked to attend the Dorchester Festival to give a reading from my Book of Rubbish Ideas and do a demonstration on how to make my Fabulous Rubbish Flatbreads.
I must confess, it’s the first lit fest I’ve been confirmed to attend this year and I’m beside myself with excitement. It’s in Dorchester on Thames in beautiful Oxfordshire and I might do a book signing at a nearby Waterstones the day before, so it’ll be all go.
The event boasts something for all the family and there’s a stack of stuff for children of all ages to do too. There are also readings to be given by children’s authors Julia Golding of The Cat series, Dragonfly and Darcie Lock and also Jenny Nimmo, famed for her award winning books on Charlie Bone.
I’ll be in The Green Tent on Sunday 3rd May and if you’re around and about, perhaps you might like to drop in and get floury with me….I need a willing volunteer to help knock up the bread…
I promise to make you some delicious flatbreads for lunch!
